Y’day, at 6.50pm, I was 20 steps away from the bus stop and the bus cruised happily away, unaware of my arrival. Darn it~ So, I waited and waited and waited. No bus appeared for twenty minutes and the sky was graying. I started to feel restless.
Suddenly, a car started to slow down and stop right beside me. I peered into it and the fella actually smiled at me. At a closer look, hey, it’s JJ. I havent seen him for ages, at least 9 months! He offered to send me home so I hopped into his car and started an uncomfortable chat. I’ve met him nearly a year ago in a training.
We had a couples of dinner & supper together back then. But it was soon for me to find out that I’ve gotta stop seeing him for meals. I found myself leading in all the conversation. He’s an introvert and a little passive. So, I asked all the questions and did most of the talking while he happily eat. I’ve pratically known everything about him, to his family in the other island.
I didnt see myself as a very chatty person (unless I am very close to them). But I was glad for his lift y’day and politely rejected dinner… Uh.. not very nice of me, but hey, I was tired.. wasn’t I?

Y’day evening called J, whom I met on Monday morning on the way to work. We both boarded the same bus and soon after we landed, she asked me where she could wait for bus after work. I gave her a few alternatives and promised her that I’ll show her the shortcut to a bus stop.
So, y’day I called her around 6.30pm, whether she wants to join me to the bus stop. She and me met after 15 minutes. So, both of us, hardly know each other, walking towards the bus stop, in a drizzling rain, sharing a blue umbrella. So, we started to talk and getting to know each other.
It was a shock for me to find that she’s married. But it wasn’t as shocking as finding out that the small Indian lady (well, slightly bigger than me of coz), already have 3 kids! The eldest was already 7 years old! And before this I thought we could hang out together like what I did with MJ whom I met by the same way too. Anyhow, I did enjoy the conversation with her and hope to see her again~

I have to make an important decision in a very short time. The final programmer found a job and will leave by end of this month.
The new programmer changed his mind and won’t be coming at all. So, by end of the month, I’ll be the only one in the KL office. Everyone will leave by end of this month.
My boss got to know about this today too. So, she gave me two choices. Either I go to work in S’pore office for short term (3 to 6 months) or long term. I have to go by next week if possible.
She’s even talking about moving my things to S’pore and where shall I stay. I just can’t think straight now.
Elton John sang ‘Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Words’.
AZ Yet sang ‘Hard To Say I’m Sorry’.
But I think the hardest word to say is GoodBye. It makes me turned & tossed at night till 2am in the morning.
I am still dreading it but it will have to come out eventually. The process of making a decision is the toughest.
But when a decision is made, you can feel your heart is light and the sunshine is bright~

After a few late nights, I finally felt so tired so I decided to call it a night by 9.41pm y’day.
I switched off the light and my handphone. This time it didnt take me long to doze off. As usual, I had a string of dreams before my alarm rang off this morning. I woke up, feeling more tired than before I slept!
Now, I felt that my head is oh-so-heavy and my eyes are puffy and dark. What happened? I am just trying to pay off my sleep-debt.
Taking my daily coffee now & hoping the dark clouds that hover over me now will go away soon~

The task that I hate most in my current company is not to go out demo or to support.
The task that I hate most is to become ‘along’ and ask the customer to pay us!
I have this customer G–T—. (yes, u know who!)
The payment is overdue for 2 months! More than 20k. I have been ‘chasing’ them for two months.
When I asked the Purchase Dept, they asked me to asked Finance and so I did. Finance said user has not posted.
So, I chased user. User said it’s not her responsibilities, when I insists, she said other users have to approve it and delayed me for more than a week.
After that, she said she’s in training and asked me to ask IT ppl. So I did, and the nice IT-guy, explained to me a huge algorithm of payment in his company and finally said he couldn’t help me, and redirect me back to Purchasing.
All these while, my boss kept ‘chasing’ me as well for that payment. Now, my boss was quite angry with me. So, I asked Purchasing again y’day, and she actually sounded quite nice. She said she’s moving her office and very busy and told me the cheque is ready to be sign by Head of Finance who’s on leave at the moment!
So I can ask the Finance for the status. This morning, again, I called the Finance and she said, ‘Purchasing not yet sign the Invoice, we couldn’t proceed with it. Please ask them’.
I was speechless. Who’s lying to me now! I tried to call Purchasing and it’s engaged… Tell me, who’s the culprit here!

It is a shocking news when I see in the paper about the financial situation of AIG. There are many concerns especially the insurance policy holders about their investment and insurance.
Many lost confidence in the big company with their ability to survive in the future. With over 3 quarter of losses, it is estimated that they might suffer more losses.
It is good to hear that U.S. government took control of AIG in an $85 billion bailout to prevent the bankruptcy of the nation’s biggest insurer and the worst financial collapse in history.
Well, let’s just hope that it will all be better again soon.
