If only carrot can run…

I’ve been very naughty yesterday. I slipped out at 4.30pm from office to watch movie! KY tempted me for a movie at Amcorp at 6pm.

Actually I wasn’t really interested in that movie, but it was much more tempting than continue to sit in my office, all alone, chatting away & playing games. Well, I do have something to do in office but just lack of motivation.

We watched ‘Guess Who’ and it’s a comedy, not half as funny as I thought it would be. But it’s good to escape from office and breathe some ‘fresh’ air. The air in the office was so stale that I kept sneezing y’day, so MJ asked me to open the window in the meeting room & let the meeting room door opened.

I was worried that I may forget to close the window before I go, so I put a note at the door to close the window. Before I left, I did remember to close the windows BUT I forgot to switch off the airconds! =S

I have weird dream (again as usual). It began with me after having lunch with my colleagues in SS2. Then, one of the colleague’s gf wants to find a room (God knows how come she’s with us during workday’s lunch).

She wants to move out with her grandmother (and she’s from a well-off family). Isn’t it weird? She’s a very sweet girl, and she’s talking happily with another female colleague of mine (who doesn’t exist in reality).

However we went to Damansara Jaya to help her to find room (during a working day’s lunch time!). We went to a big double storey house. I went into a room and help to colour a kid using colour pencil, as she wants to surprised the adults! She’s around 3 or 4 years old. She asked me to paint her using blue color pencil.

So I coloured her hand and then her face. (I couldn’t figure out how could I ever do that to a kid!) And I thought I didn’t do a good job as my color were not even! Then, appeared a few more kids (all between 3 to 5 years old and very cute!).

The adults came back and saw the kid but they were not angry or surprised. Then after a while, it was time to go. So I went out of the room, said a few things to the adults. Then I went back to the room and kissed the kids goodbye.

That time, some kids were my aunt’s daughter (when they were young) but one kid one wouldn’t let me kiss her. Then off we went. My aunt gave me a brown, sophisticated hanger as reward! (Yes, a clothes hanger and it was really sophisticated in the dream and it’s brown!) And I took it back and thought it would be useful (although very weird but it’s not weird in the dream). It was raining outside.

Most guys got umbrella and so did I. But one guy didn’t have and he’s supposed to send me back to office with his bike (and we’re not romantically-involved, even in the dream). He refused to let shield him from the rain with the umbrella.

Soon, we reached the office (it’s even look different in the dream) and we have this high-class-washroom. So, I cleaned myself as I was a bit soaked. (Then I woke up and it’s really raining outside! This is a perfectly normal dreams that I normally get as I dream very often and most of my dreams are as weird as this or even weirder!)

Finally I got my own eye mask! It’s a little gift, simple but a thoughtful one from a dear ex-roommate. She posted it all the way from Sg.I think I’m gonna bring it too when I go travelling next time and no more fear for the bright light~ And yeah, June, this is the first post mail that I received in this house since I stayed here for one and half year!

Gegegege..so excited~ Back to main topic. It showed rerun of all the other casted out particapants. Norelle used to have long hair and wore braces, but she looks fantastic now. However still a little dissapointed as its not showing who’s casted out this time. Barb knows who’s the wJuneer already! Oh, no no no No!!

Don’t tell me please!!! And the nasty Eva, she hoped that Norelle will lose. How evil could that be~

It’s dying. I’ve done all I can. I water it. I put it near the window in the office meeting room where it’ll get sufficient sunlight. I assigned my trainee to water it when I was away in Sg (else I’ll fail her, I told her straight). I gave it fertiliser.

I even crunched the fertiliser into smart parts (with a stick) so it will be absorbed easily by the root. My trainee did the same (with her hand). But it’s not strong enough. It’s dying. Its been with me for a year. It’s peers are still healthy and green.

But this un-named-cactus wont be able to make it long. My manager said it’s lacked of love. So I kissed at its tip. Nothing happens. It has enough love. Maybe the time has come. Another two weeks I guess and it’ll die completely.

I’ve moved it to my desk now, so it will be with me for its last moments. Goodbye my un-named-cactus, and may you join all my died-un-named-cactuses in cactus-heaven.

I’m learning Chinese more seriously now. =)I have this little exercise book, with squares! Barb was such a sweetie, she filled quite many pages with chinese characters, with every steps & strokes.

That was in Dec 04. Then on and off, I’ll learn to write based on it. Y’day, for the second time, I learnt Chinese together with the little girl that my landlady babysits. She’s 7 years old, standard one. So, my standard lor.. hehe.. she’s even better than me, at least she recognizes more characters.

We’ll write and ‘challenge’ each other and read from her book. The new word I learnt y’day is ‘xiau ha ha’, ‘zou’, ‘xie’, ’shi’, etc.. But I’ll need to practise writing it and memorised it. Else I’ll forget very easily.

But sometimes I doubt that she really know the word. As she tends to simply say anything if she doesnt know the word.

Like y’day, the word ‘ye’ she reads as ‘da’, only to find out that she’s wrong, after much observation. Its interesting to have someone learning together with you~

Way to go~

I was asking Sam what I should get for his special 30^th birthday as it must be something that he likes a lot. A huge Transformer figurine? But he said he loves camera more!

In return, I asked him what he would get for my 30^th birthday, thought its long, long way to go! He laughed and said certainly shoes! Oh gosh, he was right. Shoes I love, but a pair isn’t enough for the big 30th birthday.

A few pairs would do nicely though! Maybe a few pair of lovely sandal, ugg shoes orwomens athletic shoesand certainly the tory burch reva from Jildor. My, that would be totally perfect!

And it would be better if I could get a pair right now, while waiting for my birthday. You know, I can really do with a pair of comfortable ballet flat right now!

Short Term Memory Lost - I think I have it.

1) I was reading a technical email. Then I decided to change the song that I currently listening to another song in Windows Media Player. Then I checked what MJ wrote to me in MSN (without replying). Then I want to continue with what I want to do but I forgot what I was doing before that!

2) I reconfigured the connection setting. Then I wanted to reopen my BO program. The shortcut was on the desktop. So, I clicked on the ‘Show Desktop’ icon. When desktop is shown, I forgot what I wanted to do. And I clicked on Terminal program instead. :S

3) I have a few incidents of Short Term Memory Lost that I want to write, but now I can only remember two! :S
