The Portugese Settlement in Ujong Pasir is one of the must-visit places in Malacca during Christmas time as they have the most beautiful and lighted up and decorated houses during the season.
But with over 6000 Catholic community in the area, they do not have their own church. The over 80 years of Portuguese village has recently applied for a RM10 million church, with 600 seats.
Hopefully their wish will be granted as it would be such a convenient for them especially the elderly to attend their prayers every weekend.

Yes, I heard that their church application had been approved! Finally huh! They have been applying for years. And the celebration there really had helped them to get their wish! =)
