A friend of mine who wants to lose weight includes a lot of fruits and vegetables in her diets. She avoided carbohydrates like rice, bread and pasta as she thought it would make her put on weight.

 

But little did she realise that many fruits have high carbohydrates too as they contains natural sugar. But they are healthier carbohydrate and it is good to get 45 to 65% of our daily total carbohydrates from car carbohydrates, 20 to 35 percent from fat, and 10 to 35 percent from protein.

 

In the long run, to maintain an ideal weight it is important to have regular exercise and balanced diet, something which most people are not practising as they want to see fast result!
