Training porgrammes will be set up in schools for the six Olympic sports; football, archery, badminton, gymnastics, hockey, athletics and a non-Olympic-sport of sepak takraw.
It is great to start cultivating children for young age to be involved in sports in producing world-class athletes. Well, sport is also a great and healthy activities that they should be engaged in!

The US economy is reaching one of the lowest for the past 26 years since the most severe slump in 1981/82 recession.
The current recession that has started since December 2007 is expected to last till at least middle of 2009. Now it is not only affecting those in the sub-prime mortgage sector but has spread to other industries as well.
For Malaysia, we haven’t really been hit by the waves yet. Perhaps the hardest hit will come next year? Brace yourself for it!
According to Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, those living in multilevel residences (condo, apartment and flats) will not be allowed to dry their clothes in the open “where the whole world can see”.He said it was eye sore and it tarnishes the modern image of Malaysian cities.
But does he refers to the balcony as the open areas? Where else would the multilevel residences dry their clothes? We all know that staying in condo/apartments/lifts normally meant limited space and almost no outdoor space (except balcony) for them to dry their clothes.
Let’s see what they come out for a plan with special area for the people to dry their clothes.

Another great news for all of us despite the world financial meltdown crisis which seems to be worsen!
The price of the petrol and diesel will go down another 10 cents, effective Wednesday, 3rd Dec 2008, which will be the fifth reduction since the huge hike in June at RM2.70.
The new price of RON97 petrol will reduce from RM2 to RM1.90 per litre while the new price for diesel is RM1.80.
Hopefully the decrease of fuel price will lower down the prices of other goods and retail prices.
