It must be a good news for many when Muslim Consumer Association has raised their voice over the hypermarket to slash down the price of consumer goods by up to 30%!
The price has of consumer goods have been drastically increased since the increase of petrol in June. The cost of living has gone up to a very uncomfortable level for many.
Now that the petrol price have been decreased, many sellers still sell the food prices at the increased price which frustrates the customers.
Let’s us see if the staple items prices are going down, such as the flour, sugar, milk and others. Hopefully the association will keep on monitoring the consumer goods prices.

Many have raised their objection when our famous street, Jalan Alor was changed to Jalan Kejora a couple of weeks ago. The name is significant for the people and business as it is very famous street. It is even well known among the tourists as the name has been there for at least 35 years.
Changing the name to something more glamorous wouldn’t help the tourists finding back the street when they return to the country in the years to come. It would be confusing to many people despite the new image.
But now, many heaved a sigh of relief when the name Alor will be retained after a meeting with the Federal Territory-Kuala Lumpur road-naming committee. Seems like our protest is heard by the authority.
Good move, people!
