I have never dreamt of having so much money. Perhaps only 5 million or even 10 million but 20 million is a lot of money!

A man from the food industry had won that amount of money in Mega Toto and he couldn’t believe his sheer luck! He slapped his wife and have her slapped her back to make sure that it isn’t just a dream!

The lucky couple planned to pay off all the loans and debts and help their less fortunate relatives and donate to various charities. Of course, not to forget to sign up for a Europe tour as they finally can afford to travel to the part of the world!

Maybe I should try my luck too!

I listened to a motivational MP3 today that I downloaded from a website. It talks about emotional level, happiness and how to achieve goals in life.

The MP3 I listened today was focus on letting go. Yes, letting go of emotions or issues that has been bothering us for a long time, whether in term of days or even years!

First we have to embrace the issues, feel it, evaluate whether we can let it go and lastly whether we want to let it go.

I don’t know if it is so easy to let go sometimes but sometimes, when we don’t let go, we do suffer more.

It must be a good news for many when Muslim Consumer Association has raised their voice over the hypermarket to slash down the price of consumer goods by up to 30%!

The price has of consumer goods have been drastically increased since the increase of petrol in June. The cost of living has gone up to a very uncomfortable level for many.

Now that the petrol price have been decreased, many sellers still sell the food prices at the increased price which frustrates the customers.

Let’s us see if the staple items prices are going down, such as the flour, sugar, milk and others. Hopefully the association will keep on monitoring the consumer goods prices.

Many have raised their objection when our famous street, Jalan Alor was changed to Jalan Kejora a couple of weeks ago. The name is significant for the people and business as it is very famous street. It is even well known among the tourists as the name has been there for at least 35 years.

Changing the name to something more glamorous wouldn’t help the tourists finding back the street when they return to the country in the years to come. It would be confusing to many people despite the new image.

But now, many heaved a sigh of relief when the name Alor will be retained after a meeting with the
Federal Territory-Kuala Lumpur road-naming committee. Seems like our protest is heard by the authority.
Good move, people!

One of the many festivals in our multicultural country is the Deepavali, or also known as Diwali which is celebrated on the first day o f
lunar Kartika month. This festival of lights is celebrated by most Indian and it is a significant festival in Hinduism as well as Sikhism and Jainism.

In every house, you can see that the they put up lights or lamps which stands for victory of good over the evil within the soul of everyone. There are many stories behind this auspicious festival and one of the famous one is about
Ramayana in which Lord Rama reunites with his wife Sita following a 14-year exile, and after having killed the demon king Ravana.

But for many of us, this festival means family gathering, house visiting to friend’s house and a feast of food like tosai, curry chicken and mutton, putu mayam, muruku, variety of biscuits and Indian delicacies and many more. Let us hope this festival will carry on and celebrated for the many generations to come.

I love festive season which means more public holiday for me to rest. Not to forget more quality time with my family which lives two hours from my current place. It also means more shopping and great bargain.

The other day when I went back to my hometown for a long weekend, my parents and I went to Tesco for some groceries. We were approached by some of the credit card sales persons trying to promote their credit cards to us. I was so tempted to sign up as they have some very attractive freebies.

But upon getting more information from them, I realised that the credit card that they offer are have high annual fees and quite high APR. With my excellent credit history, I guess I could find much more attractive offers on than these. It is better to own one excellent credit card than ten credit cards that do not give me the maximum benefits that I deserved.I should do a comparison on the many types of credit cards according to my lifestyle and financial need. Everyone can find a Best credit card that is suitable for them whether they have a good or bad credit. On top of that, you can count on the Fast Approval Credit Cards with high rewards.

I am not a perfume-person. But sometimes, on special occasion I like to sprits a little on myself to feel special and happy. I have some perfumes or so I thought they are, but with so many labels on the market like ‘Eau de parfum’, ‘Eau de toilette’, ‘Eau de cologne’ and body splash, I am confused!

After some googling, here is what I found :

1)      Perfume : Contains anywhere from 15 to 40% perfume concentrate. Last longer and require less application than the other products.

2)      Eau de Parfum  : Containing 7 to 15% concentrate, lasts a long time and is less costly than perfume.

3)      Eau de Toilette, or EDT : less potent with 1 to 6% concentrate. Light and does not last as long as the above mentioned fragrances.

4)      Eau de cologne : began as a fragrance combined with citrus oils. It was often used by Napoleon. A modern version of this eau de cologne is known as eau fraiche.
5)      Body splash has very little perfume concentrate.Â

Other facts to take note of : -    Â
-        Generally, dry skin does not hold fragrance very long. Conversely, oily skin holds fragrance very well. Info extracted from here.
