How funny it is to see that the petrol stations are running out of petrol on critical moment like this on a Hari Raya festive season!
Well, it is believed that the dealers want to reduce profit loss due to the petrol price decrease by 10 cents. A small reduction of 10 cents per litre of petrol prices could caused up to RM20K of loss for one single day.
That is why they refused to stock up to prevent facing more losses. However it could also due to the exceptional surge of demand due to people driving back to the hometown for the long holiday.
I wonder if they stock up their petrol supplies when they heard that the petrol prices is increasing.

I always love Cadbury chocolate from British and it has always my favourite choc. But how sad it is to find out that Cadbury is recalling 11 of their products due to tainted milk scandal in China!
Many of the dairy products contain industrial chemical melamine which has linked to kidney stones in children. The tainted milk products has caused about four deaths and about 54 000 children developed kidney stones or other illness!
Even my other favorites like Chinese-made Oreos, M&Ms, Snickers and white rabbit candy are also banned. Geez.. I hope it will all be clear again as I love dairy products and China is one of the biggest food producers in the world.

It is a shocking news when I see in the paper about the financial situation of AIG. There are many concerns especially the insurance policy holders about their investment and insurance.
Many lost confidence in the big company with their ability to survive in the future. With over 3 quarter of losses, it is estimated that they might suffer more losses.
It is good to hear that U.S. government took control of AIG in an $85 billion bailout to prevent the bankruptcy of the nation’s biggest insurer and the worst financial collapse in history.
Well, let’s just hope that it will all be better again soon.

Theresa Kok was finally released from the detention of Internal Security Act at the at the Jalan Travers police station.
She was released after an investigation that shows no reason for her detention. However, she has no idea why she was detained at the first place as well as the reason for her release which is an absurdity.
When she asked them why she was being detained, they couldn’t give her a good answer. All she was told that they were instructed by the ‘top’ to arrest her without further reason.
Well, it’s a good thing that she is being released now before things get even worse.
