The fuel price has dropped 15 cents which is a little too low but a good start. But I couldn’t help but wondered if it has to do with the Permatang Pauh election and I suppose many wouldn’t have thought otherwise.

With the drop of world oil and gas prices, the government reduces the petrol price in hope of bringing down the Consumer Price Index (CPI) which has escalated in the last couple of months!

I am not too positive that it would have good enough impact for the society as most traders would be unlikely to decrease prices after the increment. A tad too late, don’t you think so?

What’s more, we never know if the petrol prices are going up next month!

Who would think that by playing well in a sport you can be awarded with Datuk-ship?

And yes, it’s true.

Lee Chong Wei has made Malaysian proud by bringing a silver medal for Olympic 2008 during the recent badminton men single game in Beijing, China.

Though he didn’t achieve gold medal as we wished for, he still has bring fame to the country and thus awarded Datuk by Penang state.

On top of that, he’ll be enjoying RM300K cash money as well as pension of RM3K every month!

Hope it will be a good motivation for him to bring more glory to the country and as an example for other athletes!

Isn’t it a cool way to make money?

The Olympic 2008.

It was inevitable.

Lin Dan from China, proved to be a too strong opponent for Lee Chong Wei, the Malaysian badminton hero.

Malaysian has high hope on the youth to celebrate their first gold medal but alas, we have managed to secure silver medal in the Beijing Olympic Games of 2008. The Olympic record of Malaysia is still unbroken.

To my relief, not many condemn his ‘lack of success’ to obtain the gold medal. Indeed he has done his best, though we could see that he was under great pressure during the match.

Better luck next time, maybe Malaysia will get the first gold medal in 2012 Olympic Game in London!

Way to go! Malaysia Boleh!
